This Privacy Policy explains how InfinityTechnologiesLLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use OrBite (the "App"), a directory that helps you discover local food trucks and mobile food vendors. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
We collect the following types of information: (a) Account information — food truck operators who create accounts provide a restaurant name, email address, and phone number. (b) Profile content — vendors enter and maintain details such as location, menu, pricing, business description, images, and self-reported sanitation scores. (c) Location data — when you or a vendor enable GPS, we process device location to show nearby vendors and to display a vendor's shared location. (d) Usage data — we may collect technical information such as device type and app interactions to maintain and improve the App.
We use the information we collect to: operate, maintain, and improve the App; authenticate restaurant-operator accounts and issue temporary passwords; display vendor profiles, menus, locations, and sanitation scores to users; send account-related communications such as password recovery emails; and detect, prevent, or address misuse, fraud, or security issues.
Location access is optional. Vendors choose whether to share their GPS location, and users may grant or deny location permissions on their device. We do not track your continuous movements. Location data is used to show nearby vendors and to display a vendor's shared position, and is not sold to third parties.
We do not sell your personal information. Vendor profile content that a vendor publishes is displayed publicly in the directory so users can discover that vendor. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the App (such as email delivery), when required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public. Any such provider is bound to handle data confidentially.
We retain account and profile information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. Vendor account holders may delete their account at any time from the Help screen, which permanently removes the associated account and profile data.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Passwords are never stored in plaintext and are hashed before storage. Session tokens are hashed server-side. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
You may keep your location permissions off at any time. Vendors may edit or remove their profile content, and may delete their account through the Help screen. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information; to exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
The App may link to or integrate with third-party services such as mapping and social media. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy.
